I agree withthis, i mentioned it on a couple of threads, but shoe-horning Elliott in to the team has impacted TTA massively; there is no space for him to work in meaning he drifts infield & then is hugely out of position when out of possession.

Previous years Fab/Hendo covered him on his forays, but Hendo's legs have gone & he can no longer do it.

On the plus side on current form, we won't be losing him to the WC squad, so that's a nice month's rest in November

This is the thing, I have no issue with players being off form it happens. But Trent and in fairness Mo, VVD and Fab have just been lazy. It is inexcusable. Trent at fault for 3 goals, just strolling. Did the same vs Man United too.

unfortunately the only players to cover his position are Milly and Gomez, the less said about them the better.

He's won the lot, earns 10 mil a year. Whats left to achieve?

Hopefully he get his passion and energy back. Just need to look at Dele Ali for how things can pan out.

I've suggested this before but am going to do it again.

Why don't we relieve him of throw ins? He really struggles to make his mind up and the dithering allows the other team to totally regroup. He rarely makes anything of them and would be so much more effective recieving the throw in and unleashing a pass instead of findinghimself under pressure and out of position. Just get the back back in quickly and let the chaos continue

He definitely has that sort of swagger. It’s that desire to do it again and again that separates the great from the good.
