All I see is a guy who on some level thought he was doing the right thing. He was trying to be protective and then trying to fight off what he saw as a threat.
He did not have the advantage of hindsight, he did not have the advantage of years of experience, he did not have the advantage of seeing a bigger picture in the moment.
He was just a guy in his 20s reacting to what probably seemed an extreme situation to him, and when the dust settles he will pay some sort of price for his actions.
The entire things showed a lot of his character for me, the good and the ugly.
Young guy who acts first rather than thinks, young guy whose first instinct is to protect or go attack a threat, and finally a young guy that gets hit by emotion/remorse imo, looking at how he appeared after he had calmed down when the enormity of the situtaion (as in what might have happened to him or his family along with what the cost of his actions might be).
Not a hope in hell am I going to vilify him in any way if his actions were a result of him wanting to protect others. Criticise aspects of it, especially after he had left the stands, hell yes.
But all he has shown is that he is human and maybe a human whose instincts come from a good place.
As that well known expression goes
Errare est humanum - To err is human
and the follow up bit applies too imo...To forgive is divine
Unless of course it is even the tiniest of slights (actual or otherwise) against me, then it is scorched earth and lifelong grudges all the way and go **** your turning the other cheek ****e.
