He's only 22, people are saying Henderson can have bad games cause he's 21 and young and has potential yet we should get rid of Carroll whose usually up by himself which is not an easy task I think it is because Henderson still plays for the under 21's, they are both still learning about the game and I personally would still play the both of them
    RIP IRWT post/rant, best ever

      I thought he was poor.

Except when he hit the bar he was never to be found in the box, almost always one step too slow, constantly standing out the box too far out where he cannot contribute, his first touch was terrible and his passing below the par.

Got little bit better when Stevie came in but imo still not enough.

To me he and Adam were the worst 2 on the pitch on our side yesterday.

Did anyone saw the argument between Enrique and Carroll?

Carroll was complaining about the cross not being aerial and Enrique got pissed coz he had to wait for him to get in the box and instead of rushing on the near post he kept on standing on the back until he got completely covered so Enrique had to thread the needle and in hopes of picking him up.

I noticed that too, he was blaming other players too last night. Seems like he can't accept that it's mostly his fault that he isn't scoring.

You could tell all that from the TV

I didn't see that but sky mentioned that Carroll wasn't happy with the crosses Johnson was putting in.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Is there any good reason for you to be sarcastic here..

Why don't you see it yourself (I made video)

BTW I saw Carroll's reaction from the different angle and if you watch carefully you will see his hand reaction complaining about the quality of cross.

                .
I thought some times he wasnt in the right place

Other times I thought he was in the right area and the delivery was poor

Fact is barring Gerrards deliveries into him (the 3 or 4 times he did this) the general delivery was poor

We had his run into the box which Gerrard found and his first touch let him down, the header on to the bar and a couple of other times when he challenged with the Toon centrehalf (Williams?), one of which he was blocked off and second one he was pushed when he'd edged in front of him

The Enrique one I actually thought was poor play from Enrique. It needed a ball in early to the back stick like Carroll was intimating but Enrique ran down a blind alley

I have some sympathy with Carroll on occasions, sometimes the delivery into him is poor. Other times the delivery has been fine and his touch/shooting/heading is off - but that is something that could be levelled at many of our players when they get chances

I agree with the Carroll part but there is no way you can tell what Enrique is on about

Oh and your video doesnt work

I disagree. I thought Enrique did good there.

Enrique had to wait for him as Andy was moving so slowly toward the 6-yard line and but the time he got there their defense already got him covered and the aerial cross would have been easily pick up by Krul.

Imo what he should have done it was to change the direction, cuts inside towards the near post, shake off the defender that way and get the ball on his preferred left foot in much better scoring position.

Cant agree with this he should have played it early

Keeping the ball cut down the options and the box then was crowded

Sometimes you have to play the percentages

This is what I keep saying about our players, the decision making of some of them is appalling

Knowing when to put it in early, rather than keeping it and losing all the options

If I was playing with Carroll in the side I'd be asking myself the same question everytime I got the ball. What sort of ball does Carroll want

He wants it in the air so he can attack it

Gerrard has played a handful of games with him and he knows it so I see no reason why players who have played with him far longer dont know that

No I saw Enriques reaction but it was impossible to tell what he wanted

Carroll clearly wanted the ball stood up, because that is what type of delivery suits him best

There was definitely other occasions when you could blame Carroll for it breaking down but not that one imo

                            That was down to Enrique

You cant tell anything from that footage at all

Enrique should have crossed that as soon as he got inside the box

                                He should've aimed for Gerrard.
