I don't really know what to make of it, but doesn't it strike you as pretty strange? Have you ever seen the like before between a Liverpool captain and manager? The closest I can recall is Gerrard's reaction to Rafa subbing Torres, but that was more indignation than telling the manager what to do. I think it suggests that things are getting a little tense under the pressure if nothing else.

In fairness how many times did you actually see a manager walk onto the pitch during an active game.

Difficult to evaluate as I cannot recall a single incident like that.

I really don't see anything alarming there but again that is my personal interpretation.
