I would have preferrred the likes of Bobby, Hendo, Millie, MAtip etc all to be around next year, Happy to be impact subs on reduced wages but if they want to be playing every week in the 1st team. Bye.

No doubt our bench will be weaker next season without Bobby on it.

No time for sentiment, it's all about the now.
Other than the odd good moments in a game I can't see the likes of taa, henderson, etc ever discovering their old consistency.

They wanted it more... may as well ask to be sold!
We should probably just sell the entire starting 11 and start again. Easy

Maybe we should have started with a few of the poor performers a couple of years back and we wouldn't be in this position now...
Yeh, but we were almost quadruple winners, blah blah but the signs have been there...
Klopp should be keeping the squad fresh and moving players on when they have peaked and have begun their slow decent into mediocrity before they stink the place out.

If we have reached a point where the whole first 11 need to be binned then consider why the manager and his team of analytical experts have not identified the downward spiral.
So much for the experts, when it becomes clear the medical staff and analysis team couldn't see our piss poor injury record and find the reasons for it

Can anyone explain to me what the plan is supposed to be with Nunez and Gakpo? Because I've tried, I really have, but I don't get it. Nunez was playing up front until we signed Gakpo, and now he's shunted to the left.

Most of our attackers would suit playing centrally - Salah included - and we don't have that explosiveness out wide, that we used to have under prime Salah and Mane.

The midfield is done. I'm not even mad at Fabinho and Henderson. I had a brief moment during the game when I thought maybe Fabinho could be our 4th CB alongside Gomez, but then he did some daft things, and I slapped myself across the face with a piece of salmon.

I've pointed this out with Trent, but I'm worried that our youngish players look like they're running with cement in their boots. Tsimikas, Gomez, Konate, Jones, they all look like they don't have that agility, as though they've tucked into a buffet pre-match.

We're struggling to create, and we're easy to play through.

I don't understand what we're even supposed to be anymore.

Most of them are lacking confidence but there are some who are finished (Hendo, Fab) and some who need a ****ing good shoeing to get them to move their arse the lazy cunts (cough, Trent, cough).

Saw Milner trying a give and go last night

We are not buying to a plan anymore is what it seems to me and emotion has overruled hard data. No sporting director with authority is killing us, Klopp should set out his preferred style of playing and the Sporting Director and team should identify targets based in that… they try to buy in descending order.

Can’t get Goetze - buy Mane
Can’t get Brandt - buy Salah
Can’t get Lewis - buy Tsimikas

There were obviously game changers that we waited for in Ali and VVD. We rarely take calculated gambles in players anymore - at worst we’ll sell them and get our money back. Shaq, Taki, Tsimikas etc - decent squad players and you sell in at no loss or even a small profit. Maybe Elliot and Carvalho but they are kids whereas the others are seasoned internationals

The right sporting director is paramount - as important as any midfielder we buy as the club has no vision and identity anymore

We are definitely starting to see what the outcomes are without this solid approach. It seems to me that the fit with Julian Ward has not worked out and the transfers he has arranged have not been as successful as the Edwards golden era. He seemed specifically only able to leverage the Portuguese market.

We also struck gold with player like Mane, Wijnaldum, Virgil who all knew the League.

I like the sounds of our transfer plans this summer, and hope they can be as transformative as we need them to be.

This season cannot end soon enough.
