    Big compliments from Thomas Frank

"Yes. I think we just played City and Arsenal and now Liverpool, in a short amout of time. For me they're a level above the two teams. They're complete. Their work ethic, the way they track back, are good indicators. They're so good all over the pitch. Such a threat going forward. These are really, really good. It's the best team in the Premier League and the world. They're huge favourites to win it [the title]."

    That's good enough for me.
    Oh I don't know.

Us getting a league this season and hopefully I can begin to emotionally check out.

We've been first at this time and lost the league more times than we've won it in the last few decades. Just as recent as last season when we were being told not to be so negative. But its not negative if you point out what could happen if the team doesnt do certain things like strengthen in january. You dont do that, 9 times out of 10 we've lost the league. Another thing to do if we dont strengthen is NOT play robo and trent. We've lost more points because of those two than any other reason. Get them out, maybe strengthen, we will win the league. Do neither? I'm expecting a second or third spot finish. I dont see that as negative. I see that as pointing out what keeps happening.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

I suspect we’ll be as good as champions by the time we play them again.

Agree with everything except the sign off bit but I'll delay thinking about next season when it starts.

This season is an amazing and unexpected challenge.
I want us to strengthen (or t least paper over the cracks) this window and give ourselves the best possible chance.

                      Why?

Reading that would give me a boost.

We have got Ipswich at home next then Bournemouth away. Bournemouth look good but not invincible. If we can somehow get 6 points…

Arsenal have Wolves away then City home.

Would be amazing to get another point or two of daylight and increase the GD (currently +8 in our favour). Keep picking up points and squeeze the life out of Arsenal they can barely afford anymore mistakes.

Keep their heads out of their own arses. Keep the outside noise away from the players as much as possible IMO.

Whilst I wouldn't go as far as to call yesterday a turning point in the title race, I would say that the way it panned out could be significant.

The manner of scoring two injury time goals to halt an impending run of three league draws, with the manner that Arsenal threw away their lead - it must be hard for Arsenal to take.

It should really give us the confidence to go on and get a good run going.

And Slot was only saying on Friday that he wants us to score more late winners.

BTW, I make it that our last 5 goals have been scored by subs. Is that right?
