Impact from Sterling yesterday.......a fairly obvious sub fair enough, but even without the instant goal, it immediately pushed Southampton right back and reduced any involvement of their midfielders.
Could have pushed him out right, which would have forced Shaw back from having a completely free run on that side that he had enjoyed for most of the first half (and exposed some of his naive positioning), but Rodgers targeted the midfield with instant result.
Not sure he'd be as effective long term through the middle, but teams have a reason to be frightened of him."I will make the boys feel your support"

why don't we totally make it absurd and wait for Tom Cleverly to be added to the nominees

Januzaj has already bought a display case
Regarding the Hazard/Sturridge issue, there is a chance that votes for them in the senior award might dilute the amount they pick up in the young, although you could argue that they may pick them up because players would have voted for Suarez in the senior, but timing of the vote is always a factor in this.
Wouldn't be surprised if Ramsey's early season form was foremost in some minds.

it seems like it wasnt that long ago i was wondering if he could get his head sorted and focus on his football. there seemed to be too many off the field distractions, getting in the papers for the wrong reasons. would this kid make it here or was he needing to go back to london, etc...
im sure this kid now realises that he is potentially going to be one of our most important young players and he now looks to have found his focus. no doubt brendan and the senior players have helped steady him.
keep going lad.removing all the weak links makes us stronger
too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

Not only he scored 6 goals so far but he also has 3 assists which no young player currently playing in PL can say.Originally posted by foresterbloke View PostHe's scored 6 this season which is very good for a 19 year old! I think he could get to 10 for the season which is sensational.
He is getting better and better all the time and that has lot to do with how BR managed him.Member #1 of the Luis Suarez fan club

Yep, its brilliant. Ronaldo only got 5 goals in 25 league starts when he was 19/20! Raheem has 6 in 16 starts and isnt even 20 until well in to next season. I think only injuries and a bad attitude could stop him from being one of the best players in the world and theres zero sign of the latter, quite the opposite infact, hopefully the former stays away too. What he's doing for a teenager is absolutely incredible.Originally posted by foresterbloke View PostHe's scored 6 this season which is very good for a 19 year old!
