Based on what? A contract that he hasn't signed as he is unable to till his agent sets up his company in the summer...if rumours are correct.

Love how quick fans turn on players when they don't know the full story basing there info on **** stirring media.

Obviously if the full story is that he is a money grabbing ****, Well lets let it play out that way before we judge him as such.

to be honest, we could just let him leave for free in 2 years.

it would mean we get him for 2 seasons and if he's valued at £40m now, that's £20 a season. As Markovic has proven, £20m doesn't get a lot these days, so we may as well have sterling and hopefully he can help us progress.

Although being a footballer he'd probably sulk and perform as he has been doing for most of the season.

C'mon man, look what happened with Suarez. He ditched us after playing similar games. I honestly don't think Sterling wants to be here, I'm not turning on him and obviously hope he stays but it's not looking likely.

He's not muttered a single positive word about his future here so what does that tell you?
Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. This is why we watched it when we were young. I can still not have enough of it."

I think Perky is right - he's waiting to see if we get CL and wanting to reassess his options in the summer in general.

Would Real ever consider a straight swap between Sterling and Bale (if Bale were up for it)? We could afford to pay Bale top whack salary, i.e. £200k-ish / week as he's an established star not a youngster.

Surely Bale would love an instant return to the PL even if it means missing CL for one season next season. And surely he wants to play under a young progressive manager that knows how to handle talent like Suarez (and even Sterling).

Bale would walk into both manc sides at the moment and they'd pay more then us for him. It's been said before but not being in the CL regularly is hurting us. Ultimately that's were the players want to compete in.

Jack Pitt-Brooke in the Independent reckons Sterling's head has been turned and there is an acceptance at Liverpool that he will go.

                            I'd prefer Isco

Surely that means he's been tapped up and said club would be liable to pay us compo like we did with Zenden. How else can he have had his head turned without speaking to another club.
