Hence why IMO we need pace and pressing, force ourselves upon them. They can't handle that type of style.. it's been shown several times. If we don't press and give them space.. i think they'll beat us. Their a very good side and it's going to be a very hard game.

Is the point exactly. The club have created this problem by failing to invest in the correct profile of top attacking talent. As a result Raheem's importance to the team is inflated.

Looking at the games he's played and his role in the team/ squad - no wonder he wants to be level with the top earners.

The second factor is that he must look around and see the top players - Suarez Gerrard - leaving and the profile of player being brought in is not the same. This feeds into inflating Raheem's status but it also must be pretty obvious to him that we aren't going to be winning many trophies with this approach.

wouldn't disagree with any of that.

Who else does his agent "advise" or is Raheem the only one making him (her?) any money?

I can see it now. The club will sell Sterling in the summer and be right on the phone to Southampton and West Brom.

It's going to be a carbon copy of last summer. Aiming to win the best of the rest competition. *getting top 4*. Is unfortunately the acceptable aim of this football club nowadays and for the people who run it.
And once we get in the competition we cant wait to get out of it.

Is it based on fact yet or still just speculation?

We have been using him as a key player the whole season, he may not feel appreciated, shouldn't have done the interview mind.
                                * The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.
