Thanjk you.

It's a pity Chelsea don't seem interested. They have players deemed surplus to requirement that I would love to take as part of a deal. I could probably come up with a deal with them that involves no money and be very happy to take three players in exchange from them that they look likely to sell anyway.
Fernando was class at Porto, seemed to struggle badly last season. Could be bad first season and needs time to settle Or could be he just can't cut it in the premier league. Pellegrini playing Fernando & Fernandinho in the same side was a huge mistake.
When all of this started I said his actual value was $40 Million and thats when his stock was high. I would bite there arm off for anything north of $32 Million and Dzeko

Of all their players Dzeko must be the one that is worst suited for a high paced, counter attacking pressing system. Surely we'd want Jovetic instead.
A lot of people run a race to see who is fastest. I run to see who has the most guts, who can punish himself into exhausting pace, and then at the end, punish himself even more.
Sorry did I say Dzeko I meant Jovetic ..... honest, either are class strikers who can perform ... If Jovetic is the more suited striker I'll take your word ... but any deal has to include a player considering our deal with QPR

Thinking laterally I'd want Fernando - a poor debut season for City he was boss at Porto and I wanted him last summer, trouble is Rodgers seems to have no interest in buying CM/DM type.
Would not be against signing Fernando as part of a deal for Sterling as long as the cash amount was pretty hefty.
He is a good player and would add some steel to our soft centre, plus he is pretty good on the ball when playing in a pressing team.
He did a lot of the dirty work at City last season when the likes of Toure went missing in games, and quite often the City midfield was horribly exposed thanks to there being a few passengers there who liked to stroll through games.
If City came back with close to 40m and Fernando then would be happy with that.
I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

Paul Joyce reckons Rodgers would be interested in Dzeko if we get a player in the deal (seldom happens though).
Dzeko?
Eh?
There is clearly something Rpdgers wants to implement that needs the type of 'drop off targetman' but he never seems to put it on the pitch which is pretty baffling.
Losing Sterling and getting Dzeko would feel like we were abandoning a certain style of play. In general I'm torn about the idea of losing Sterling and getting a more proven/developed player but if we do I want us to bring in someone who has the surprise and excitement element to their game that Sterling has at his best. **** it, I just want him to stay and knuckle down to fulfil his potential.
