He seems like a nice guy. Has a great attitude but no way he is a Liverpool captain.

    Look at the past ones

    Stevie etc
    I love Sarah

On current form, He should not be in the 11 (especially when we have can and Milner on the field), let alone our captain (Lucas it should be), heck I would even tempt to put in Joe Allan ahead

I don't know what it is, just a hunch. Something tells me we will turn a corner soon or have already turned it. Sadly that doesn't include the likes of Jordan Henderson who isn't ****ing good enough.

The thing that's swayed me with Hendo is his shooting from corners, we will always pick him out from a corner and he will touch it once - **** it and it goes on to the net over the keeper. Same **** every week, he can't tackle for **** either and much like Can just likes a good whinge at every decision.

Football is more than that, sometimes you just have to take the decision and get on with it. I'm pissed so my post is a tad OTT but it's based on a hunch.
The Henderson of 2013-2014 is more than good enough

The Henderson we have seen for the last 2 seasons isnt

Has the injury affected him that much I dont know, but whether its injury or a general drop off in performance level its currently not enough

We know for a fact he's still playing with the injury so surely the jury should be out until he's free of it (which should be the summer, reportedly).

Henderson before 13-14 was **** hence even Rodgers wanted rid.

Just saying, his only good season was when we had a gung-ho approach, possibly playing on instinct.

He can't play the controlled midfield role; you either have that vision and temperament or you don't and he hasn't got it. He's got no tenderness in his passing. It's not something you can teach either. I mentioned it a while back but he's more suited to a wide position, like Kuyt. It's really frustrating as he's the antithesis of the intelligent midfielders we've had in the past, imo. He'll play passes that are detrimental to our flow and all this indirectly affects the result or outcome of the game.

I'm 100% sure the reason he has the armband is because he's a good trainer and professional. Not because of his leadership qualities.

The reason Henderson was so good that season was because we played a total pressing game

Something we either havent done or struggled to do since then

I actually dont think Klopp has even managed to get this lot pressing enough

Thats why I will give him a break

Thats said its my understanding that the only way for the injury to be "cured" is for it to rupture completely as that relieves the pain

We're asking him to be one of our better players, and leader. He isn't either.

I think he's playing 4-2-3-1, and seeing who can fit into system, and whether they'd be starters or squad players.

This means more tactical work can be done for those who are new coming in, with the help of the players already here.
I think you're right, he did switch to 4-4-2 diamond in the final though. Can't recall if Hendo played any better after the switch though to be honest

No tenderness in his passing? Get the **** out of our club!

I'm with Shaggy on this. He's managing a long term injury - we need to give him chance to recover before making any definitive judgement on him.

Yep, theres a lot of other worthy candidates to ship out.

That is so like a Rodgers quote "the boy has an amazing tenderness to his passing which allows him to serve the seven and a half role perfectly. He is an outstanding human being with great character."

I was trying to find the right description and that was the first one that sprung to mind. Not sure if it clearly expresses what I was trying to say but I hope most (not Saveloy, obvs) understand what I mean.

His pass selection is poor anyway, tenderness or no tenderness
