I wish he'd play some more diagonals to the wing.

Must've been incredible difficult to keep it together in this match, Lovren and Mig gift Spurs a two goal start, midfield and defence changes early on, you back into the game but the Mr. GoodLooking has one of his moments, I can't fault the rest of the team, bar Lovren, Mig and Can really.* The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

He is not good enough, end of story. There are a good handful of better players in his position just in the premier league and he as a captain he inspires **** all. He is a squad player that got given the captaincy by default and no by some unwritten rule has to play...
Playing Milner along side him was another shocking decision from Klopp... you can seen Milner's brain trying to wind itself up to decide what he is going to do with the ball, as much as I like him he is finished. Him and Hendo running around like a headless chicken exposes our already shocking defence more than it should.

I like him as a player, but there were times yesterday when we had a fullback or winger in absolutely acres of space and we didn't find a way of getting them the ball quickly. Whether he didn't switch it because of lack of ability, playing it safe, lack of vision..whatever the reason i don't really care now. Get someone in who can see that pass and play it. I know this is all very easy to say from the stand but i'm sick of seeing passes that are on that are either ignored or not executed. We need better. Or maybe we are playing exactly how Klopp wants and i'm talking bollocks.

The ball he played for the goal was sublime. There you go I said it. But as good as that one was he also played one earlier than that without pressure that was equally as bad. One good pass does not excuse the rest of the crap he serves up. Sell sell sell.Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

****. Have we already lost Keita?Originally posted by labourRed View PostJordan Henderson, while not being at his best this season, is far from the worst of our problems. With Kieta and Can and Coutinho leaving next year our midfield could look very different next year anyway.Modifying post.

In his defence he is being asked to play in a position that he just is not suited to, much like Firmino, much like Milner last year, much like Gomez at RB... seems a common trait of Klopp square pegs in round holes. Hendo was racking up some decent stats when played in his more natural box to box role. Crazy to think that we signing 3 box to box midfielders in Hendo, Can & Wini (even Milner) and playing them in the same midfield.... it does not make sense and has created an unbalanced midfield.Originally posted by brightred View PostI really don't know what he does. Would be great for the like of west ham etc but Liverpool?
But as LFC captain, considering we had Steven Gerrard wearing the band before him ..... it is so uninspiring. He is no leader, he is not a captain the rest of the team look to when things are tough. The fact that he got the armband in the first place shows exactly why we are where we are.
He is a decent player, not amazing and not ****, a bit of a jack of all trades but just nowhere near the type of guy you want as captain of LFC. There are zero leaders at the club, it's a crazy situation that I still can't believe we let happen to ourselves.
