yes but we are not Man City, We cannot afford these transfer mistakes. 30m invested well last summer would have made a massive dfference, now we are having to rely on the players that weren't deemed good enough last season and surprisingly enough they are not good enough this season either.

The problem is time and again we have wasted money, since Rafa left we have spent ~£180m (gross) and more than half of it has been wasted, if we could have spent that money wisely we could be in a much much stronger position now.

I just dont get the outraged criticism of our players, Henderson last year, Lucas the year before, Allen this year.

Whatever happened to giving players time to settle in?
Not every player hits the ground running and is excellent all throughout their 1st season.
