Awful what happened to Kolo, but Skrtel needs to come out of his sulk now and step up to the plate. He might be guaranteed a start for a while now. A chance to take matters into his own hands and make himself undroppable.

He's had one excellent season and the rest of the time was average. He's all we have to now though so I hope he finds the form from the one great season. Then sell him when we've replaced him with someone better.

I just hope he's mentally up for it and is committed to the cause. A journalist told me a couple of weeks ago that he's been fit all along and that he and Rodgers are not talking. Not sure whether him being left out is down to that or just protecting his value in terms of his sale.

Loads of people don't have much time for their boss, but to not be on speaking terms is just a bit childish, not to mention completely unprofessional. Grow up ffs.
