With regard to the Andy Heaton tweets, in what universe is LFC a depreciating asset? Haven't Forbes recently named us,was it 8th most valuable club in the world at around a billion dollars? By the time we get the new tv money and go up to 58000+ the club will be worth a ****ing fortune. 4 or 5 times the 320m or so they originally paid.

I think it's clear we need a McAllister type signing. Someone that can push us on but without the emotional baggage that is Gerrard.

Someone like Cambiasso wouldn't be a bad shout. Seems to still have the legs for CM and was the driving force behind Leicester's great run. I'd say he can be a difference maker when chasing an equaliser or keeping a calm head when defending one.

Problem with players at that point in their careers is that often there is a sudden drop off (see Gerrard in the last two seasons). Cambiasso has at least proven he can deal with the PL pace.

Perhaps if we use Henderson or Can in the Momo Sissoko role then we could engineer the space for Pirlo.

If we went the veteran route I'd like us also to identify a younger players to develop as well.

One thing on that long list of bollocks from Andy Heaton.
                            We're not a depreciating asset.

FSG bought us for £300 million and we're now valued at closer to £700 million.
The King was back for a short while. Long live The King.

Therefore it would make sense for FSG to look to sell us after the stadium rebuild is finished and the commercial deals are at a high level.

That's perfectly normal business and common sense.

Maybe he knows the next valuation will only be £699 million.
