Thats just it neither option is preferable

The whole thing lacks accountability and is about as clear as a FIFA expenses sheet

If you look at the signings that are attributed to Rodgers none of them are awe inspiring, I suppose you can say Lallana is about the best and hes been very hit and miss

So should we let him buy more Allens, Borinis & Lovrens **** no

Equally the committee isnt buying players he wants, so he tends not to play them or play them out of position. However the committee have got a couple of decent signings under their belt - Sturridge, Coutinho, Sakho & Can

Either option we choose it looks like we are wasting money at the very least in the short term, but I tend to come down on the committee getting slightly more right than Rodgers has

Personally I think next season is a complete ****ing write off either way we jump

Last season Rodgers had money in the bank so did the bolded bit above. This season he's just handed over his last £25 chip to the house and can't afford to be so flippant. The man can coach some wonderful football when focused. Now he's nothing but focused.
I remain ultimately skeptical about even his coaching ability

I dont think hes terrible but hes not the genius everyone thinks he is

I am still yet to be convinced that the attacking football we saw last year was a by product of his tactical genius and coaching

I agree regarding the committee having gotten the better players, but I think Rodgers needs to be held accountable and the only way is he picks his players, he will only mismanage the TC signings anyway. Before anyone jumps on my back, I realize these are rumours and not facts but I believe them (ish).

Its a tough decision and to be honest its one we shouldnt even be in.

My worry is this, give him free hand and the likelihood is the squad will be in even worse shape than it is now. I dont ****ing trust him one iota with signings

If we keep the committee making the decisions then there is a chance it wont get drastically worse

We shouldnt be in this situation its absolutely farcical

I have very little faith that which ever option is chosen that we will see significant improvement

I have much faith in that next season will be a disaster.

I just think that if he fails he can point towards not getting his way with the players and there will always be someone to buy it. Total accountability and if he screws up we can all be in agreement to sack him. Although he should have been sacked already, but enough on that.

I dont think hes getting away with anything again even if the committee buy the players which is why I'd be tempted to continue with the committee

No, I manage just fine. I am committed to be miserable about this at least until late July. I don't know why it should bother you? Hope you don't let other people's opinions or emotions get to you in real life?

IMO it wasn't just that Benitez finished seventh, it was the fact that he complained about the tools he had been given for the job.

He would have been sacked regardless for telling it like it was.
