Does Brendan actually believe that it was largely down to Pascoe and Marsh that we had such a **** season? Surely he can't be that arrogant.
I think I'm right in thinking that since he has come in, we have changed the academy with McParland and Borrell leaving/sacked, sacked Dr Zaf and now given his direct assistants the bullet. The changes seem to be widespread with one consistent remaining...

Echo have changed their tune since, said it was a mutual decision between Werner, Gordon & Rodgers.Originally posted by Saul Goodman View PostThe Echo saying the changes were conditional to him staying. I seriously doubt any of these changes are a result of introspective analysis by Brendan.Forwards.......

Brendan, if you want to stay then we need you to agree to x, y and z? Brendan has stayed so he obviously agreed.Originally posted by DannyMan2006 View PostEcho have changed their tune since, said it was a mutual decision between Werner, Gordon & Rodgers.
That is a mutual decision, of sorts.

Think it's more the bosses like his ideas but feel he needs someone else to give ideas. Atm it feels like it's all on him and if he can't think of anything the others don't have any input to help.Originally posted by baronvonskidmark View PostDoes Brendan actually believe that it was largely down to Pascoe and Marsh that we had such a **** season? There's a million different interpretations we could guess at tbf. But there's no point binning them off if you have no alternatives. Surely we should expect imminent appointments now ?Originally posted by Saul Goodman View PostBrendan, if you want to stay then we need you to agree to x, y and z? That could very well be the case actually. Hopefully we can get someone in who can not only have a positive impact on the team, but also improve Rodgers as our manager.Originally posted by DannyMan2006 View PostThink it's more the bosses like his ideas but feel he needs someone else to give ideas. I have a really nice scene in my head of Pascoe stood there in fogged up glasses and his shorts(with a shirt a tie tucked in, it's an important meeting) screaming at Brendan that he thought they where friends.
Absolute joke how him and Marsh have taken the flack in fairness, stinks of either blame being massively shifted or the club trying to make it look like they're doing "something" without sacking Rodgers. The times they are a changin'.

Pure conjecture but I think the back room staff has been cleared for a DOF and isn't really about incriminations from last season. The new DOF has indicated he is happy to give Rodgers a go as head coach but he want to put in place his own team around him. Rodgers has agreed to stay on within this structure. Guess we'll have to wait and see.Originally posted by Shaggy View PostThe more I think about this the more it doesn't sit right. Rightly or wrongly it looks to me like Pascoe and Marsh - for all their apparent under-qualification for their roles - have been made scapegoats. Why should they carry the can?!
