Rodgers is well and truly a puppet. I don't for one second believe he would have wanted to get rid of Mike Marsh especially as it was him who promoted Marsh.

I've no idea what any of our staff do tbh, but you either back Rodgers or you sack him. I wouldn't be happy with staff being forced on him as it'd be pointless. He's worked with Pascoe for years and he's obviously happy with what he does.

Marsh always looked a bit of a pointless hire, looked like the obligatory ex player hire who provided a branch between the manager and the clubs history. I think Rodgers had a rough season and he may have found out that Marsh couldnt do what was asked of him when the heat got turned up.

I think the last part is the most important.

I have literally **** all idea what any specific coach does. People were saying that Sammy Lee was just putting out cones at the end of his time with us but once he left a lot of things seemed to change. I find it quite comical how people have quite detailed opinions on someones skills seemingly based on a combination of sartorial choices and clipboard holding technique.

It has looked for a while like we have not had the right balance of ideas behind the scenes and if Rodgers is willing and able to identify the person or people we need to change that then it is a big move in the right direction.
