Brendan looks pretty vulnerable to me now. He's lost his coaching staff (one of them being his best mate), there are rumours he will have little or no say in who comes in to work with him. I know the echo said he he had to agree to the changes or lose his job but it also smacks of him being undermined. I wonder what our players think of all of this because to me it looks like Rodgers has been humiliated. I would not be surprised if Rodgers walked from this.

Sometimes, when trying to unearth a gem from rocks, you need to clear the debris. Unfortunately Rodgers continues making naive mistakes (purchases, inept coaching mates, etc) which are his obvious blind spots.Originally posted by marcus50bucks View PostBrendan looks pretty vulnerable to me now. Undermining him for his own benefit will help him, and us, in the long run. He's got nowhere better than us to walk to.One tit for another.

I can't imagine any scenario that would make Rodgers walk. He has a big ego - fair enough - and enjoys the prestige and kudos that comes with being LFC manager. City have been interested in him in the past and he knows it, but he's lost a bit of his allure, there's little chance now of him winding up there and other than City, as said above, he's really got nowhere to go from here but down. I would be amazed. Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

He was, and I don't think he's doing anything at the moment. He's been there and done it at a host of top clubs so in that respect it makes sense, but as usual we have no idea about his coaching or whatever.Originally posted by Nigey View PostBolo was Rafa's assistant at Chelsea I think?
