I wont be because Fenway call the shots. Its their money and their club so I have no expectations. Rafa or klopp would be great

I suppose frank de Boer / avb will get it.

i doubt whoever comes in will get a wedge of money.
we have spunked it and would not get a massive amount if we wanted to move on the poorer performers.
whoever takes over will probably have to make do with the bulk of what we have, look to promote some youth and possibly 20-30m.

if rafa could work to those criteria and keep his gob shut then maybe fsg might talk to him.

it really depends on how many pages he has in his folder

He doesn't need 500 pretty pages in a dossier. He just needs one.

Of him holding the champions league trophy in 2005.

It's not going to happen. We've been through this a few times now since he's left, every time it's the same, he's not going to get the gig.

I agree that the chances of him getting the job are remote and klopp is the more natural fit for us.

But hes a genius. I know lots dont like him but hes one of the worlds 5 best coaches for me. Playing arbeloa as a left back against messi. He never got a kick.

            That's real genius.

Or of the photoshoots from signing Robbie Keane, Degen, Voronin, Pennant, that other bloke that came on a free after he'd left whose name I've wiped from my memory, josemi, Aquilani, Dossena or 6 billion youth team keepers.

Or maybe one of him trying to **** off Xabi Alonso so he could sign Gareth Barry I love the bloke but he signed just as much **** as Rodgers has.
A lot of people run a race to see who is fastest. I run to see who has the most guts, who can punish himself into exhausting pace, and then at the end, punish himself even more.

Rafael Benitez Champions League winning manager. The man is responsible for some of the greatest moments in our history. He did amazing with the resources he had and the structure he worked under.

I'd prefer Klopp but also be just ad pleased with Rafa. Look at what he did at the sort time at the chavs.

No mate youre wrong. He signed more dross that Rodgers ever has.

Because he had to scrape the barrel every season to fill gaps in our squad. If you have to do that then youre going to end up with lots of voronins which he did.

He won the Champions League with Houllier's team plus Alonso and Garcia, spent the next five years making more deals than Harry Redknapp on deadline day and bar the FA cup (and subsequent exhibition matches) won????

agree, just making a reference to rodgers and his job winning dossier

lets get rafa as interim, that seems to work well.

then give him a one year rolling contract,

It's certainly true that apart from the things he won, he won nothing.

Apart from the League Cup, have we won much since?

We win the possession stat most games, this season we're also winning the number of shots stat.
He’s here! I *know* he’s here! That’s him, I’m telling you that’s him! You hear me? I’m telling you it’s *Keyser Soze*!

Well on that logic i suppose we can discount Joe Fagan as he won the league , league cup and European cup with Bob's team in 84.

That's the point. Take away the trophies that our successful managers have won and they'll have won no more than the managers who won nothing. In reality if you discount the champions league and FA Cup from his time here then really Rafa was no better than Roy... And he had an extra 5 years... During the last 6 and he won exactly **** all in the last 4 of them.

Who has been our most successful manager since Kenny mk1? Ged?

500 pages to suggest why he should have got the job and a just couple of lines under the chapter achievements.
