don't think Rodgers went hard enough during the post match interview.

If Ferguson or Mourinho had have been on the end of that performance by Costa you'd bet the house they have clearly called out how bad those two stamping incidents were.

Brendan just said it was "poor". He should have called for those types of deliberate career threatening incidents to be punished to the extent of the existing laws and called out for Mourinho to come out and say the behaviour from his own player was appalling.

Even the incident with Gerrard - Costa had his hands all over his face at one point in an attempt to drag him down.

He should have also praised his own team for not reacting. Start using the press Brendan

      I don't think it's in Rodgers' make-up, but I think you're right, ntto.

Luckily Mourinho is raking it all up for us and coming across the cunt, so it will stay in the public eye for a little while longer.

I thought his response was absolutely fine... I'm not in the least bit shocked that some don't though.

Rodgers is very docile on times but him and Mourinho are buddies so he was never going to go ape ****.

Hopefully Costa gets retrospectively punished .

            .
Moaninho was happy to criticise him though.

              Not buddies any more seemingly.

Funny how that happens when Mourinho feels a little bit of pressure from another managers team. Seem to remember it went that way with Rafa

I don't think it makes any difference if they're mates or not. Not to us. We don't carry off that "Everyone hates us" attitude, we just get on with it.

I also think that siege mentality rubbish can wear thin after a while. Better to use it sparingly or it drains players & fans after a certain period of time.
                    Forwards.......

Then where does Lallana play? I would be expecting him to make himself a starter. Good to have competition I guess.

That's rather a Mesolithic way of thinking. Why is it such a crime to exchange pleasantries?
I'm surprised they haven't taken to the stands like the do in the RFU and have player analysts relaying info to the coach who directs instruction on to the pitch.
                        Go **** yourself

He seemed to get on well enough with Ferguson though.

Let's see if we can sustain Rodgers pressing style when we have to play two games a week.
