He was at Roma earlier in the year, wasn't he?

Niangollan and Pjanic will do nicely, just offer them loads of money.
Brandt - Keita - Van Dijk - Sessegnon

Chelsea, City and Arsenal have already sown up next season's top three too. So its between us and Utd again. Utd will have a new keeper coming in, a new CB (Hummels) and full backs who haven't properly played yet (Shaw, etc). They could have a slow start, we can't afford to.
I know you've been a big supporter of his Chief but even you can't deny this season has been a monumental **** up by Brendan & the Committee

Not replacing Luis - ffs leaving us with the crocked Sturridge, Borini, Lambert & Mario?! £20m spunked on Lovren who is utter ****e & £25m on a barely decent squad player like Lallana?!

I'm not jumping on the BR out bandwagon yet - I think he's earned another season on the back of last year & the way we somewhat recovered this year - but the summer signings have got to be 100% spot on or else he'll be gone & he can take that short wearing useless short sighted gimp Pascoe with him
What do you mean it could've been anyone? Name me one person who's got a grudge against penguins

      F*** off!!!

FA cup or not I'll be disappointed if he's our manager next season because I just don't believe he's the right man for the job.
You made your mind up months ago.
        Oh I don't know.

I support his vision and footballing tactics. I acknowledged his kryptonite, ie wanting the right players, when he wanted Ashley Williams. This is why I think next season could be his last - whether he can get the right players in. If he does we're in for another potential league challenge. If he buys duds again, out by January most likely.

Which would be a shame as I will miss his ability but obviously that counts for nothing if he doesn't know how to buy the right players. Or whom.

talk of the sack is madness ... he needed players in the summer ... he did not get them or did not get the ones he wanted we need 2 top top strikers ... he got 1 with potential on a season loan, one with potential who has never been able to managed by the literal best managers in the game, another who we turned down on medical reason who has subsequently gone on to sign for Chelsea and contribute important goals and finally a player who would get nowhere near a top 5 side, if it was not for the fact he is a live long red ... as much as I like the man. This team needs strikers ...

Did Arsenal get rid of their manager when he lost in a far more convincing manner last year to us?

No they didn't and i'm not saying we should get rid of him either,if anything as mentioned by others on here he's got enough to have another try next season.

Bit different though innit? 3 league titles and 5 FA Cups vs 1 LMA Manager of the year award.

I find Rodgers default style of football boring and tbh it isnt really that effective in the Premier League. We've looked a much better team playing a bit more direct and with two strikers - even when we haven't had Suarez available.

However, in my view the manager isn't the problem. Its player recruitment - both in terms of the philosophy and the execution. We need to recruit a few more players who are in or closer to their prime to lead the team and bring the younger ones on.

McManaman, Owen, Alonso, Mascherano, Torres, Suarez. I'm sick to death of seeing us sell our top players. Top clubs don't do it.

We are where we ought to be in the league - all of the top four have better players that us. End of.

The biggest difference there is 18+ seasons vs less than 3.

Well yes, one manager has a proven track record of winning things and one doesn't. Makes sense that the former would get more leeway.
