3-5-2 in theory is an extremely attacking formation if you have quick attacking wingers, but I'm not sure that we play that way. It strikes me as more defensive, like Harv said we're basically playing with 6x defenders
The fact that he has been coached into a team formation where he was RB in a back 4 right up until last Monday has probably not helped Clyne much.

Welcome to LFC though Nathaniel, get used to getting a shot in loads of positions.

in 3 years under brendan rodgers we have conceded 3 goals or more in a game 24 times (might be 26). Compare this to under the benitez reign when it was 9 times in 6 seasons.

the stats say we cant score 3 goals in a game and we cant stop conceding 3 goals a game.
      Frightening statistics.

Then at least they know how we feel
A lot of people run a race to see who is fastest. I run to see who has the most guts, who can punish himself into exhausting pace, and then at the end, punish himself even more.

We knew from the early games that we would get more of the same, and unless the team starts showing some will to fight for the shirt FSG are going to have their hands forced. I really hope they have a plan.
I agree. When Kenny first went in there, then when he had Kuyt, Suarez, Maxi Rod, Bellamy and Gerrard all bombing forward we were a joy to watch and played some really good stuff.

They gave the job to Kenny based on how the team played (huge improvement) when he first took over.

But when they gave Kenny his 3 year contract, they also gave him a wedge of cash to spend on players. And he spent it on Charlie Adam, on Stewart Downing, on Jordan Henderson (turned out to be a brilliant addition but boy did he get stick at the time).

Hindsight is wonderful but right now those players mentioned aren't any worse than what Brendan has done!!!

I think if he had someone other than Commoli signing the players back then, and if it was set up so that we had a proper DoF and Kenny to just coach the team - then it mightn't have worked out so bad.....

Ian Ayre is. They were warned off Rafa, it can only have been him doing the warning as he was the only one left at the time. He convinced them not to sack Rodgers last Christmas and probably the summer too. Now apparently somebody is warning them off Klopp. Self preservation is the number one concern in Chapel St from a man who fancies himself as much as Rodgers.

Ayre has way too much influence at the club, it's a toxic relationship and he should go along with Hodgers.

The problem for me is that I have the feeling that because there is so much change in team structures there will be no real adaption to one particular style of play and therefore no continuity or stability.

The other issue is that it seems he has lost the supporters totally, which is a shame as two years ago he nearly won the league. Liverpool used to replace good players with like for like equivalents. Liverpool didn't. I don't know if this was down to Rodgers or the committee.

None of us know who is responsible for picking our signings.
Jacques Brel is alive and well and playing at Anfield

remove this slug and his wingman.
removing all the weak links makes us stronger

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.
