Klopp said he was ill before the game which is why he had to come off.

He's a bit of an enigma - can really stink the place out but when he's good he's ****ing immense, and given his age, just turned 24, you've got to think he's got 4 or 5 years brilliant years ahead of him.

If he's ****ing off we should play him until he vomits.

Thought Can was awesome today. I'd love to keep him. I can't understand why anyone would leave us for Juve at the moment.

I think if he was offered the starting role he had today and a pay packet similar to Lovren (!!!) he’d stay for sure. I’m genuinely baffled as to how this young german international gets pelters on here and the likes of Wij, who is anonymous 90% of the time, barely gets mention. He totally bossed City’s midfield today and the wheels basically came off when he was replaced by Milner. That just about sums it up for me.

What is the situation with him not signing a contract? Is it really due to us not agreeing a release clause? Or is there something else, wages? Or is he unhappy in the area/country?

The release clause thing really doesn't make sense to me at least.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

To be fair, like Klopp said, Can was ill as **** and Milner had to come on and play the DM role which he's never done before. But mitigating circumstances aside, your point still stands.

Maybe we need to get him ill more often if it makes him play like that

No doubt and I’m not knocking Klopp in the least. Would just be gutted if our emre ended up leaving while ****e like Lovren and Mig stick around.

He was incredible today & I really hope we can come to some sort of agreement with him resigning.

Likewise...be a travesty if he leaves...Who the **** would not want to part of a midfield with Keita, Ox & hopefully Goeretka supplying the likes of Salah, Mane & Firmino upfront?
Nope, don't need anger management, you just need to stop pissing me off!
