TTA needs to be careful he don't fade away like Dele Ali

Hes played a lot of football over the past few seasons and is missing some zip. However, even on his best days hes not a great defender - great attacking right back but not a defender. He switched off and lost Vini for their goal.

I don't think he really switched on all game. Our opponents must be looking at him as the main weakness, and that's really not good

So that's the first 5 mins of the next game sorted, what is the plan for the remaining 85 mins once he goes off injured?

Trent wasn't at it all game. It was Konate who switched off for the goal though, he should have gone with Benzema after the VVD tackle instead of watching him from outside the box.

Said it earlier in the week that im starting to think Trent in midfield might be a good option for us to test for the rest of the season.

he was sitting in midfield a lot today when we head the ball, so maybe thats something they're working on?

Could we re shuffle and play some kind of 3-4-3 and play Trent out on the right?!?

The only way I’d see Trent working in midfield is on the right of a 4-4-2 with a solid guy behind him

He has zero pace and can't beat a man 1 v 1 though. He would have to evolve into a defensive mid with excellent positional awareness.

There were times in the first half where he was in the midfield and Konate was the cover.

this is what he is severely lacking.

Yes, but that's his best hope to move away from RB. I can't see him slotting in anywhere else.

The first line sounds like Beckham…… he could sure cross a ball though!

The game has changed, it's faster and more athletic.
