I thought he played well in the first half, he didn't stand out because there were some other very good performances, the standard was generally high

He is getting involved and getting into positions and at times demanding the ball.

I thought he was one of our better players today.

Wanted ball, went at Sagna few times, his movement was miles better than in the past but he he ****ed up one easy cross to Suarez that could have easily changed the game outcome in our favor.

All in all he is not the reason why we lost today.

I think we've watched a different game Dan; he was direct, he wanted the ball and went at Arsenal and in particular Sagna - he provided width, put some decent balls in the box. I thought he was very good.

Absolutely no end product mate, and that's is the crux of our problems. He worked harder and showed bit more aggression but one decent ball i can remember, the ball he played into Suarez when Suarez would have been one on one with Keeper was nothing short of criminal i nealry threw me scrambled egg at the tv.

I think his square ball for Suarez was a heavy foot, so yeah - he should have done better, but I haven't seen a replay of it yet and from memory, I'm sure it looks like Suarez looks to check and almost slows down his run. I'm not sure about that though, so I could be wrong.

I don't think he was '****ing desperate' though, it was an above average performance even if you don't rate him ... surely!

Downing played well again, but should have done better with the pass to Suarez.

I thought he was good today and showed promise. I still look at him and weep over that price tag.

He's getting there and I was satisfied with his running, willingness to cross the ball into dangerous areas and make some runs off the ball.

**** downing! he has changed the meaning of great! because we are getting used to seeing his ****ty plays week in week out
