Not saying it's a joke. It's just not true.Originally posted by Kenneth View PostThey had Geremi, Tiago, Makelele, Smertin, and Parker at the time.
Anyhow, the opinion that Parker > Lucas, or even Song > Lucas, is not the joke it seems be taken as.
Doesnt matter who they had and when, the point is Lucas would walk into their side at the same age that Parker didnt get a look in.

That makes no sense. You asked what Parker was doing at 24 and he played 15 games for Chelsea, who at the time had loads of CM options. Now they are ****ed in MF, saying Lucas would walk into their team is proving what?
I just find it odd that JohnDoe gets relentlessly mocked, often for saying things that are taken as read by most non Liverpool fans.Trey Nyoni: countdown to stardom-2 years1year0.5 years

Ah, so people who mostly dont watch Liverpool are onto something then?
The difference is, most of us acknowledge that Parker is a good player. Most non-Reds think Lucas is average at best. It's pure ignorance.
JohnDoe gets pulled up based on the extent of his dislike/non-rating of Lucas, combined with the fact that he's a Liverpool fan who actually watches Lucas week in, week out, and should therefore know better than the average Stoke fan.
He was also betting his house on the idea that Lucas would become a bench warmer this season, with the arrival of Adam and Henderson. Now that is laughable.

Hyperbole. Hyperbole. Hyperbole.

I would ban people from using it. I'm tempted to do a search with it being the key word but I'm afraid of crashing the site.If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Stop exaggerating..
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
May the Lord bless this post.
