Based on performances, I'm not surprised, and it really shows the ruthlessness of Rodgers.

He is well liked and gets us. He's a trustee of the Liverpool FC Foundation too, which indicates his stature around the club nowadays.

However, Rodgers said that we won't be going into the season with players we're not sure about. This is a real signal of his intent.
