I hope he stays. Good luck to him one way or another. Obviously I hope he doesn't win anything at our expense but I'm completely fine with him deciding to stay if that happens. Loyalty is such an stupid expectation in a situation like this. I'd say SG regrets not going somewhere and winning the league. Or at least he should. Without that CL, his career would have been a travesty. Endless sanctimonious nostalgia dogs our club.

I don't think i did, i was just commenting on the animosity shown to him, i merely stated that we've not been consistently successful, and seem to have been overtaken by other clubs that are now in a better position than we are to challenge for the top trophies/titles, and i don't see why Raheem wouldn't be aware of that, even being just out of his nappies teens, and seeing as one or more of those clubs seem to want him, well, he's not an lfc fan like us is he.

Anyway, i decided long ago not to hate/dislike players for wanting to leave lfc, it's not worth it and they don't really deserve it imo, it's just life choices made by people looking after their ****.

I agree to a point, but there are ways and means. It's not Sterling wanting to leave that makes me angry at the little ****, it's the way he's gone about it. He's behaved abysmally.

To give a comparison - I still like MacManaman, but hate Owen for all those smirking interviews where he said he was ready to sign. Both went to Real Madrid on the cheap when the club was in a similar position. One did it the right way, one the wrong way.
