He reminds me of Scott Parker in the way that you can see him maturing into a really solid player over time.

      It's the 1940s haircuts isn't it?

          I thought the same.

Very quick on the ball, lots of 1-touches passes, lots of forward passes too and to me the best part he didn't hide yesterday with many 'save' passes.

Also it seems he put on some more muscle mass as he looks much more bulky.

Big difference to his career with us so far.

Seemed to relish the responsibility of playing with the kids.

He did well by his previous crap standards, i'm still unconvinced though.
I've said it a million times but he's bang average, does not do any one thing exceptionally.
              We come not to play.

Thought he was tidy with a few stand out moments. The signs are good and I agree with others in that he could thrive in the Rodgers system.

He's not good enough to be a starter & if he wants to improve as a player which he really needs to do, sitting on the bench at LFC isn't really
going to help him. He has far better players ahead of him, most young players too. Each to their own opinion but i can't see him ever being a player
that dictates games, he hides too much and games seem to pass him by.

Has looked run of the mill in his whole career before LFC, has looked run of the mill at LFC & an ok/decent performance against Young Boys doesn't convince me either. He has got some serious improving to do as a player & needs to grow a pair of balls, before he can even consider staking a claim in our first 11.

                  P.S. Clearly i'm not a fan

Could develop into a player along the lines of Carrick.. Went off the boil for a lot of reasons I suppose. Young player playing out of position in a team that's struggling in general added to the pressure of the price tag which came under scrutiny.

Technically very good.. Good short sharp passing and decent pace.

He's a good player ad under Rodgers he could do very well.

Only if he grabs those few opportunities that he will get.

Tables turned for him drastically as he was starter last year and I think he is finally aware that he will need to "play for his life" every time he steps on the pitch if he wants to get any decent playing time and he won't achieve that by being bang on average.

Walks off with 2 assists and gets a load of criticism from some, got to love this place!

He'll need to do that in the Prem to really get some cred but that's a good start. He does need to kick on when given the chance. He must be judged when played in his preferred position not stuck out wide like most of last season.

I think theres an agenda against all of kennys signings. Adam and carroll have gone henderson and coates dont play enough but downing and enrique are justifiably benched.

But henderson should be in our starting line up every week.

I'm not anti-Hendo by any means, but start him ahead of who?
