Thanjk you.

TBF, he hasn't turned us into a mediocre team. He just hasn't elevated us beyond that, Suarez genius aside.
i think that time we came 2nd in the league, then it was nothing short of sensational...... when you consider the bench we had in those games (the likes of Aly Cissoko, Victor Moses, Iago Aspas) then it makes it even more incredible how we played.....and it wasn't all down to Suarez.
When you consider the money spent on the squad since then, it is definitely regression. For me though, it is almost like Brendan is just trying different things - with both his squad and his personnel - until he finds a winning formula again. I think i would prefer a manager who had a set way of playing and just stuck with that..... Brendan seems to want to re-invent football every couple of months. And what we are left with is a squad with 3 number 10's, one big striker up front, one 19 year old winger, 3 energetic box-to-box midfielders but only one specialist DM (who always seems to be on the unwanted list!)..... 2 expensive left sided central defenders but only one left back (who is kept out of the team by a young right back!)...... it is so imbalanced....
I do want Rodgers to succeed, but my belief is waning fast. The fact that we signed so many players this year and are still a team with no real plan, formation or direction so long into his tenure is depressing.

4 games. 4 bleeding games.

But it's somewhere in the middle isn't it? (odd concept for on here I guess)
He didn't start the season with a completely blank slate of course, but he's four games in with this set of players. No committee excuse to muddy the waters. His neck is on the line, so let's give him more than 4 games to hit his stride. It's not like every other team is flying 4 games in.
Sorry Bob, I didn't mean to troll as such but we should be judging Mr Rodgers in the wider context of his stewardship (in my opinion)
Sorry mate I overreacted, **** day at work and was trying to unwind. I don't disagree with the wider context however when someone mentioned now he has bought his players this summer, I think we need more than 4 games to see where we are heading this season. Especially when no one plays well at stoke and we have played Arsenal away where we actually played really well, more so first half. After ten games we should have a better idea.
