No, it's just that it was expected with so many players. Expectations are higher and new players are still adjusting. Defensively we are still making mistakes and with our attack broken a wee bit, we are finding hard to get results.Originally posted by danperkins View PostHaving trouble fitting the right starting 11 into the right system?
We'll get it right though. I can see some signs of improvements already. Balottelli will need to adjust. Or probably, we'll need to adjust to his natural game. We are looking for him to make runs in behind but it's not his game. Are we winning?

Most of us knew it was a terrible blow losing Suarez and we would struggle for a while adjusting. On the same hand, we probably wouldn't have gone on a spending spree if he'd stayed. Not to this level at least.Originally posted by G View PostWere the coaches and the club lulled into a false sense of security regarding allowing Suarez to leave by our performances when he was banned?
I know I was.Are we winning?

It's a fact that Suarez is so good that he could make an average manager look great. I still think a lot of our fans don't quite appreciate how ****ing incredible that guy was. But I think Brendan has got it. It's up to him to show it now. Deal with the Skrtel problem, sort us out at the back, and get us fizzing it around like we did between January-May last season. Easy Brendan la
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

I know we all knew that it was a massive blow. I knew we had no chance of the league as soon it became clear he was going but at the same time I thought we'd be ok cos we did so well when he wasn't around. I had hoped we get another season out of him and then he could go but as feared we didn't and the arse has fallen out of it without him.Originally posted by Nigey View PostMost of us knew it was a terrible blow losing Suarez and we would struggle for a while adjusting. Suppose the question is now, how much of last season was down the boss and how much was down to Suarez. We'll find out in the coming months.Last edited by G; 01-10-14, 11:13 PM.

We showed some good moments in attack, but you can predict that each game will see us commit basic mistakes which will see us struggle to get a result. Our forward play needs adjusting as well. Play to Balotelli's strengths ffs, and get players to make those runs that he isn't making. Sterling had a few very good runs, but final ball cost him.Are we winning?

As well as the Skrtl problem, there is the Gerrard problem.Originally posted by Shaggy View PostIt's a fact that Suarez is so good that he could make an average manager look great.
