Yet Rodgers will still weekly come out with variants of "Liverpool football club are a great club, one of the very best" to try and butter up the fans to try and make up for the fact no cunt wants to play for us.

The fact that Rodgers is now saying how difficult it will be to attract players without champions league football makes me feel he knows the pressure is on for him to keep his job if we don't make it. I don't want to say deadman walking but my doubts on whether Henry will keep him are creeping back in again. I would like him to stay myself.

We all know what fsg will do if they decide to bin Rodgers. They will just be happy to bring in another young hungry manager that won't rock the boat when it comes to transfers. Rinse and repeat. I don't trust them. I would honestly bin the whole transfer committee thing now and have one man in charge of transfers whether that be a technical director or the manager. Only then will we know who is accountable for the failures in the transfer market. Having four or 5 people make decisions on who to buy is just ridiculous.

Apparently not even the ones here want to either, depending on whether you believe the papers or not

To be honest I would be surprised if there is an issue as bad as is being made out by the Mirror, I very much doubt that a significant number of the player's aren't playing for him, because up to 2-3 games ago the team was flying we had won 10 of the previous 12 (before the Man Utd game). After those results I imagine that there is alot of frustration around the dressing room/training ground. The 2 straight defeats to top 4 rivals have almost certainly cost us a CL place, and the players and manager are upset. This is a time where we need to figure out which people are pulling in the same direction and are working for the good of the club and which players are holding us back.

Last season we had a fairly small squad; there were about 14 players who were regularly involved, this season the squad has got significantly bigger, there are more players around but many aren't contributing anywhere near enough. To be brutally honest last summer's transfer window was a disaster, Lallana (25m), Markovic (20m), Lovren (20m), Balotelli (16m), that's £80m worth of players that have barely made an impact, Lallana and Markovic have shown signs of promise, and have been held back by injury to some extent but I still don't know if we have found a role for them in the side. Lovren and Balotelli have been disasterous signings, I don't see a future for either of them here and I see even less chance of us breaking even on them. Moreno has been ok, but is prone to errors, and Can had been a good signing, albeit he has been played out of position. Lambert was always going to be a back up or a plan b, but given his lack of game time despite an injury crisis up front, it makes you wonder what out was going through the heads of the transfer committee/scouting system when we signed him. The problem is with transfers we don't know who is responsible, Rodgers has a say, but seemingly other people have as much of a say. Given what was said in the summer, I imagine if Rodgers had the final say Balotelli for one wouldn't be here.

For me the next season is make or break for Rodgers he needs to prove that he is the one responsible for moving the club forward and last season's success wasn't just down to the ability of Suarez. Off the pitch the club hierarcy needs to get their **** together in terms of sorting out the futures of players, while the Sterling situation is probably due to his agent, there are other contract issues that are a problem on the clubs side, the Henderson situation should never have been allowed to get this far and Gerrard's comments about his situation give some cause for concern.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Rodgers asked about "crisis" story: "We have lots of meetings. It was no different to ones we have had all season. It was nothing"

                Someones leaked it then

Well we know Brendam has beef at the moment with Sterling's people, wonder if that prick Aidy Ward has gone running to the Mirror.

It does seem like the **** has hit the fan. It is a complete 360 from 12 months ago. A lot of the players need to have a long hard look at themselves. As soon as we conceed they appear to give up. The manager doesn't help by coming out with crapsabout not signing top players and it just stinks of lack of ambition. We failed to sign Sanchez last summer and just appeared to abandon any other top class target and go for mid table premier league players.

Sold Agger and paid £20m for Lovren .

If there was genuine truth in that report, I would've expected it to be in more than one newspaper.

You'd expect a manager to have a word with the team after losing two big games in a row. It's the way it's reported which makes it sound as though he's losing the dressing room, which I think is the sensationalist part.

To be honest if half the team got up and walked out on us, would we notice any drop in quality in our football. As long as Coutinho and Sakho weren't in the dissenters camp I wouldn't give a flying duck.

If Rodgers was no longer around we'd see a drop in quality immediately.

I am amused at the reported dressing room revolt. Brendan lays into Lallana,Allen,Lovren, Lambert and Supermario- they reply "you bought us"

Based on what exactly? What have you heard or read that has drawn you to this conclusion?

I could quite easily say that it seems his new teeth are making him incredibly horny right now.
