Have visions of it being like Est at Lfc.

JH: by gad he's gotta go i tells ya!

IA: Nah mate he's sound, top top manager! Suarez wouldn't be the player he is today without Brendan, and it's Stevie Gee's fault we lost the title anyways.

I think that's a bit unfair, on est we finally seem to have found something we almost all agree on

As for the sacking, everyone is curious to see what the plan is for all these players that have been bought. he should be given at least 10 league games to pull this around.

From a new managers perspective its best to get the next 6/7 games out of the way and then its a fresh start.

For what its worth I think the decision to replace him has already been made and its only a question of timing now.

Disagree, let's say we get 1-3 points over the next three games, which is totally plausible given how things are going, the task becomes huge for a new manager. Southampton, Chelsea and Bournemouth are waiting to leapfrog us and we are four points off fourth as it stands, we can't afford to lose that many points or we'll never even have a chance of catching up. The team needs a lift and change, it's obvious, waiting will only make the job harder for the new guy.

No chance he's gonna be sacked now. It'll be in or around Christmas if it happens this season. Even if the decision has been made, it will take time for someone else to be lined up to replace him. Doing it now without any plan whatsoever on who's going to take charge is rash to say the least.

They won't wait that long......the boos ringing out tell you all you need to know. Can't see fsg tolerating that for another 3 months.

Will be gone at the weekend if we lose against villa Imo.

Well, we better have someone lined up or we'll be left with O'Driscoll for a wee bit. I personally think they'll give him a bit more time.

I think it couldn't be so long, I'd guess over 90% want him out, maybe even 95%. Loads of teams have sacked their manager and gotten someone else in and it doesn't have to take weeks or months. We have two unemployed high caliber managers.

It was a mistake not going for Rafa in 2012 and it was a mistake not to sack Rodgers last summer, I think Ayre played his part in both decisions. Let's not make yet another mistake.

I can't remember us booing the team under hodgson? I really think Rodgers is taking us to a new low which is quite remarkable!!!

I believe the wheels are in motion. I think we're past specific dates or match results and it will be down to 1/ how quickly we can agree terms with a new manager, and 2/ how quickly we can agree a severance package with Rodgers.

The players have checked out, Rodgers looks like a man that is accepting of the inevitable and it's just a case of bringing various negotiations to a close.

To be fair half of them ddint bother to go to the match preferring to stay home, and the ones that did come fell asleep during it.

would almost be negligence on the part of FSG if they haven't actively sounded out replacements ....and I found it interesting how quick they were to dismiss the Ancelotti rumours yet let the Klopp ones fly.

I'm pretty sure Hodgson experienced many a boo. It started with chants of 'Dalglish' before outbreaks of booing got louder.

                            "Hodgson for England!!"

He probably thought it was praise though, the silly old beaut.

Loads of booing for Roy. Well earned as well.

The booing for Hodgson was as much a part for his personality, and behaviour in interviews, as it was for the turgid football. He earned it by being a total prick.

As crap as we are now I don't think the same can be said for Rodgers.
