I really don't think we have much chance of getting Klopp - he'll end up at Bayern next summer.

He's buying players, not using them correctly then loaning them out and we make a massive loss. He's so reckless with money its unbelievable.
If we signed the right players first time we wouldn't have to spend every summer overhauling the squad and we'd have a decent amount of money to spend on a top player rather than spending it on correcting last years mistakes. Bringing in one or two top players would take alot less time to settle if the team had a style of play and you were only trying add one or two new players a year rather than about 8.

I wonder who it is advising FSG ? Whoever it is will likely influence where we go next.

I'd be willing to take on Ancelotti as well if he's available due to health. He's a class act IMO.

In a way I admire FSG for keeping a cool head in the summer and backing their man, but the way the fans are at the moment I just don't see a way back for him. It's all a bit of a mess.
Klopp's assistant at Mainz and Dortmund was Zeljko Buvac. He's stayed on at Dortmund as Tuchel's assistant.

I don't think it would be a big deal getting rid of O'Driscoll, he's used to not staying anywhere for long anyway.

Apparently Lijnders is still involved with development at Kirkby even since his promotion and since he's highly rated there'd likely still be a role for him wether it was still with the 1st team so much or not.

McAllister, who knows, if Klopp took a shine to him he could be kept on as some sort of continuation and there usually seems to be at least 1 ex-player in the coaching set up.

neither O'Driscoll or McAllister left jobs to come to LFC (i don't think so anyway) so in reality, you would have thought that FSG have been clever enough to write some sort of "thanks.....but no thanks" clause in their contracts.

In reality, even if LFC did have to pay them off, then it's likely to be circa a million for the pair of them. Considering what we have spent on players compared to what they are now worth, that won't even be on the radar.

Just **** him off FFS. He's clueless. 5 at the back and a lame **** Lucas guarding them at home....to ****ing Norwich. Meanwhile our £55m attacking midfield duo sit on the bench. He's a joke.

Liverpool have only scored more than three goals in a game once in all competitions since Luis Suarez left.

It seems a bit OTT to play three at the back AND Lucas, hopefully he sees some sense and stops being so silly and just plays 44bloody2 next time.

If I was the owner I wouldn't be happy that we bought Balotelli, Markovic, Illori, for about £40m and they're out playing for someone else. That's a piss-take. I'd also be looking at past failures with players such as lovren, Lallana ect and wanting answers on how it was concluded that their transfer fees were justified before we signed them.

We can't keep pissing money away like this every summer and having to bring in 7 or 8 players each summer and rebuild. £300m spend correctly should have us challenging for the title or at least CL football.

People can go on about net spend ext being low but the fact is Rodgers has had almost £300m to spend which is more than any manager in our history yet the only cup he'll get his hands on is the one from the melwood tea lady.

A bit?? Thats effectively 6 players that offer zero attacking threat.

Its a defeatist, trying not to lose attitude that just doesn't compute with this club....or Rodgers supposed football "ethics".

He's pathetic. Ive properly done my arse with him now.

We did it 11 times in the league in 2013-14

Totes. Watching us is akin to masochism at this point in time.

In fact **** that. Even the mere consideration that I may watch us probably counts

How about giving Carragher a go?

Couldn't do any worse than what we've got.

At least he'd probably out Lovren straight away
