the thing in our favour is that arsenal and chelsea only lookly marginally less **** that we do so its wide open. arsenal will score plenty but let plenty in.

chelsea look vulnerable in every match ive seen and we look pants going forward.

if any of these three teams can win five or six on the trot that would put them in pole position for fourth but all three.teams have huge deficencies and right now no one wants it.

on paper we have the best balanced squad of the lot but can the players rise to the occasion.
    I dont think we'll get 4th

Not unless we make a couple of signings this month

Equally even if we dont get 4th I'd be surprised if they canned Kenny

In my opinion we should have held onto the money until summer. I know it's easy to say that in hindsight but panic buying is never the answer just look at Arsenal in last summers window.

If Kenny really rated Carroll he should have waited to go in for him in the summer, it would have given him more time to see what he was capable on after he came back from his injury.
The times they are a changin'.

I can safely say they will never, I repeat never, give Kenny/Commoli any money. I have a good source

It'd be nice to have psg style funding.

I know this is a simplistic view but it at least it's logical. It stands out like a moment of fun at a Cliff Richard concert that we need to put away a higher percentage of chances created than we are currently doing, and we are creating chances. AC is the main striker and for whatever reason is not converting the chances. Therefore we need to play a striker that can convert the chances. The current squad seems devoid of any likely replacement therefore if we want to progress we need to sign a proven striker now at any cost or we will not be able to challenge for 4th this year.

When it comes to scoing goals AC's transfer fee is immaterial, the fact is he's just not doing what was expected of him, maybe he will soon maybe he wont but right now we cannot wait to see as the chance of reaching 4th is slipping by.

Hopefully the wheels are turning and a striker will be signed very soon. Maybe AC playing second fiddle may be just what he needs to get his act together.

We've spent £115 million in the space of 12 months with a net spend of 35 million. Never before in this clubs history have we spent that amount in such a short period of time.

                  Are you surprised.

                  1. Record transfer amount recieved ever
                  2. No interest to pay on loans for 1st time ever since Sky's record Billion pound TV deals.

                  Easy 90m straight away.

Yeah I know, I was just responding to someone who was complaining about a lack of investment from FSG which is clearly nonsense when you look at the figures.

I'd stop watching if they did. Football is so dull thanks to big pots of cash being thrown about.

I'm seriously considering following non-league football.

I disagree with this. No one is booing him. But there are plenty discussing his limitations and problems. No one is aiming hatred at him though are they. Are they?

Its easier to be in the right when you portray those with reservations as being unreasonable and hateful.

Myself, I wish he'd scored 25 goals this season, and Downing had assisted 20 of them. If he'd been effective I would gladly have sat here and taken criticism for being in the wrong.

The groans at matches are clearly audible.

What in ****'s name are you on about?

Do you think it's productive or helpful for people to groan when he makes a mistake? Is that going to help?
