    Yes.

And doesn't it fill you with delight to know that this panel had to find a much greater degree of [s]proof[/s] probability that it happened - based solely on their intepretation (imagine how little evidence is needed for less serious allegations).

Even though they admit in their own report that the video evidence shows **** all. Despite the many translations of the phrase Evra said to Suarez - the FA have decided he meant the least offensive one. Despite the many possibilities of what Suarez said to Evra they believe he said the worst.

And they believe all this despite acknowledging that Evra is the instigator of the confrontation.

Evra wanted a reaction from Suarez so he would have been sent off. He wanted to piss off Suarez.

      That is what started everything.

The play acting by Evra was a big f*cking joke and then Fergie comes out with that Suarez play acts a lot after the game when his own player earned 100 Oscars in one minute.
      Laughable to say the least.

You're too kind to Evra. I dont even think he touched his knee. The reason Evra hurt his knee is because he is a ****ing idiot who threw himself into the air and landed on it. If he cant stay on his feet after that then Evra's middle name is Bambi.

Suarez gave his opinion to Camioli who is a European-Spanish speaking Frenchman who commented to the referee in English on what Uruguayan Luis Suarez said to him in Latin American Spanish.

Kuyt is a Dutch speaking Dutchman who commented in Dutch on What Uruguayan Suarez said to him in Dutch.

Haughtan - presumably the other guy - reported the number of times Ferguson claimed to the referee that Evra had said to him, he was abused.

So the Liverpool trio in their glorious English-French-Euro Spanish-Latin Am Spanish-English-Dutch translation fest are apparent uncredible because their stories differ.

Cant think why that would result in different stories compared to somebody saying in English what somebody else told them in English. Can you?

I am starting to think we should just accept the ban.

IF we do it now, he will only miss 4 league games (I presume its a domestic ban, so fa and league cup games count).

I have a bad feeling that if we do appeal, we will lose and get an increased ban. Plus the press will hammer us even more for sticking up for one of our players, and we will end up with a terrible rep. Even now, I feel Suarez will be hounded out of the club. The perception is he is guilty, and opposition fans are just going to give him hell.

Perhaps an appeal will reduce the ban, but I think the damage is already done

                  This.

Even if Luis took this one as a private matter to the legal system, the most that would happen, is a rejection of the outcome of the charge that was made against him by the FA/Evra, and, more likely, the throwing out of such a case as demonstrable under law. Plus there's a case against any media outlet that has overstepped the mark in any summation of the whole incident.
Wouldn't obviously effect a suspension that would already have taken place by the time this would be sorted as a private matter.

But, as you say, the damage has been done, and if I was Suarez' advisor/agent, for the sake of his club career, I would advise him to look for a move to the continent in the summer.

I also think this will ensure Suarez leaves this country in the summer. What a ****ing shame if he does but I could hardly blame him.

I think we are exagerrating, mainly through fear than any real belief, that Suarez will be hounded out of the English game. Can't say I have heard of any particular savage abuse aimed at Marlon King this season. The papers are cetainly not mentioning violent sexual offender in everyone of their match reports and they won't do it with Suarez once things have settled down.

Speaking as a Liverpool fan, obviously its a ****ing disaster, but he would need a serious PR miracle to turn this around, similar to what DiCanio had a few years ago.
If he was on a VanPersie like streak, it might be a bit easier for him, as I do believe he comes across as a strong character, but with the character assassination job that had been done to him even before this Evra situation, added to what's going to be probably the most difficult career-adjustment period a player has faced in many a year in the English game, the escape option of a move to Spain etc could become a very welcome escape for him and his family.......................and I wouldn't blame him at all.

I sincerely hope that he stays with us and proves that the fa are really a bunch of ****s (who are mostly utd fans anyway) and Suarez and his national team go on to knock England out of the Euros (or whatever comes next?) and pi$$ the FA off big style,

Well off to bed with a bad head looming

Both players were speaking in Suarez native language. We know that the word negro used in the language both players spoke is not deemed offensive, so how then can the fa find him guilty based on our definion of the word?
Same here. I think that played definitely against him if LFC statement is true as all along the it was believed that he said "Negrito" not "Negro" and use of "Negro" in English cannot have anything but bad connotation.

That's ****in's shocking discovery. It is incredible that the footballing governing body would allow personal judgement and clearly the obvious lack of evidence to make the decision of this magnitude.

Truly ashonishing and dispicable behaviour on their part.

Pretty much. He was sacrificed for anything that has been building about racism in football over last 50+ years.

I am very worried that may happen. It will be very tough for him and his family and I wouldn't be suprised if he, for the personal safety, decides to move on.

Possibly, but I don't think anyone (even opposition fans) gives a toss about Marlon King, and the negative coverage against Suarez even before this was already firmly in the mindset of opposition players, fans and even every commentator in the game spewing out there endless ****e about how Luis is alone in his cheating, diving foreigness...
Can't pretend to know what Suarez or his family thinks, but they can obviously only take so much, and the only respite Suarez will have is at Anfield.
I also don't think we can forget that he is still relatively new to life in England, and depending on how the rest of the season pans out, he may ask himself is he isn't better off raising his family elsewhere.

Put it this way, I hope he stays, I really do.......and shoves it right up everyone's ****ing hole with a rampant run of form, but I certainly expect to read some headline about how "Barca/Real Madrid/SomeoneElse Utd will offer Suarez an end to his Anfield nightmare etc etc etc" come the summer.

I made the same point earlier in this thread.

Wouldn't be surprised if that happens at all.
