Don't think it's gossip that his agent is setting up his own agency, is it? I thought that was a confirmed thing? The rest is joining the dots, but it makes sense, why would his agent tell him to sign now when he could wait a couple of months and get his % for his new business?

It can't be that simple. Surely sterling would be contracted to the existing business and his management wouldn't simply transfer with the movements of his agent.

What Sterling is allegedly after is nowhere near his market rate. That's the problem as far as I can see.

I've no doubt they'll both sign new deals at much less than 150k, more nearer 100k this summer.

Agents will try to get the best for them obviously but LFC will stand our ground. Henderson's a good lad, will get captaincy and doesnt seem that money motivated.

Sterling on the other hand is young a kid and needs us more than we need him. He'd be taking a massive risk to move and I don't think he has the balls to do it when push comes to shove.

Henderson was relatively anonymous today but Sterling can't be expected to be a world beater in that role. Don't think it is fair to hold it against him when he is played out of position

I expect better excuses from someone on 150k compared to 100k was my point.

Sterling is not a CB expected to play centre forward. He is by trade a winger expected today to play...on the wing.
