Guess we'll have to wait and see.
Yeah could be mate. I still think there'll be a new head honcho coming in, maybe a DoF in all but name.

By removing both Marsh and Pascoe it surely indicates that the coaching wasn't up to scratch.

So who's decided that our coaching is sub-par? Sure as hell isn't going to be Werner or any of the FSG crew as frankly how would they know what good or **** soccer coaching is?!

            Exactly. It's very strange.

I dont think we can read a lot into this until we see the new coaches and the setup. Who knows - Rodgers + experienced coaching setup might actually work.

I think I'm right in thinking that since he has come in, we have changed the academy with McParland and Borrell leaving/sacked, sacked Dr Zaf and now given his direct assistants the bullet. The changes seem to be widespread with one consistent remaining...
if i remember right dr zaf left for family reasons.

Time and again the team has looked poorly prepared, so it's logical to make a change on the coaching front, but it would also be logical to hold to account the person overseeing that poor preparation.

Will be interesting to see if the new coaching staff is actually imposed on the Manager; if things don't go well it could make the 'debate' over who does what in the transfer committee look like a picnic.

Maybe they consulted some of our senior players - Gerrard, Carra. They have played under 4 managers and would be best placed to compare the quality of coaching.

We're an absolute mess at the moment. Rodgers is blessed he's under that long term contract and that there are **** replacements around.. Otherwise imo he would have been a goner.

                            But they appointed the manager.

Could be that someone at the club independent of Rodgers will be keeping them informed, probably giving their own insight as to what they think the problems were, and what he thinks should be done about it, up to JH and co to decide whether to act on that info then.
